Tim Ferriss – 4-Hour Body

A delicious and 4-hour body-friendly protein shake for a quick breakfast.

In a previous post, I outlined my very delicious and reasonably healthy, debatable, protein shake. It does taste great, but if you follow the 4-hour body, by the man Tim Ferriss, five rules, you will see it breaks most of them. The five rules are:

  1. Nothing White – (all bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, grains, milk)
  2. Eat the same meals
  3. Don’t drink calories
  4. Don’t eat fruit
  5. Take one day of a week

As you can see, I am breaking rules 3 of the five 4-hour body rules, oops! I changed to the natural WHEY protein with ice water, wich isn’t bad but wanted something with a little more kick to the “Good Stuff” area and kept me going until I have a larger meal for brunch. Here is my new recipe list:

  • WHEY Protein Isolate
  • several ice cubes
  • Avocado Slice
  • egg
  • coffee (optional)
  • water

The best way to make this is with a Magic Bullet, the most useful tool in my kitchen for the past 5+ years. In that time, I have only replaced it once, due to being a little rough with the device.

Sounds weird but tastes fantastic. It’s one of those recipes I would have never thought would taste any good until I tried it, but it’s great. I can’t take the credit; I have to thank Alison of HealthNutNation channel for this excellent video about the 4-hour body Protein breakfast. I made some slight modifications but would never have thought of replacing Banana with Avocado. I do love it but never thought to drink it. Here are some awesome facts about Avocado’s if you still have some reservations – Scientists explain why avocados are the best food in the world via @techinsider.

Enjoy and “may the Ferriss be with you!”
